EDUCATOR
KD is a versatile artist and educator with extensive experience worldwide in Dance, Movement, Aerials, as well as Early Childhood Education. KD has the rare experience of being approached directly by Katherine Dunham to be a teacher of her technique, as well as being one of two ever assistants in Dunham Technique of the renowned teacher and choreographer, Ned Williams Jr. KD has also served as Curriculum Director for AntiGravity®, Inc and After School Director at The Maple Street School. She has the unique gift and strength to go deep with dancers, working from the inside out to fully grasp the art and experience. She embraces a nuanced approach to program development and implementation customizing culturally relevant curricular programming. As an educator, KD develops strong embodied programs that honor authenticity that cultivate into thriving collectives.
