AERIAL HAMMOCK SPECIALIST
As an aerial hammock specialist, KD knows the ins & outs of the apparatus for therapeutic and conditioning use. Evolved from performance athletes taking care of their bodies, the elements that come from the experience can be equally healing, liberating, and relieving. Through the injury prevention and rehabilitative qualities of movement as well as the pioneering ways it introduces new ways of moving to the human body, people worldwide have overcome fears and experienced pain relief. Whether in physical therapy, conditioning, studio, or spa settings, the benefits of the aerial hammock provide new skill sets for health and wellness.
KD was the 3rd Master Instructor designated by Christopher Harrison to lead AntiGravity® Teacher Trainings. As one of a handful to expand these pioneering techniques across the world from 2011-2016, KD lead over 40 teacher and instructor trainer trainings. With training locations in NYC, Salt Lake City, Thailand, Singapore, Italy, Switzerland, Indonesia, Greece and Orlando, the participants came from all over the world at each location. In the initial years of international expansion the diversity of participants was of great depth and value with the trainings adding entirely new skill sets to existing experts in their fields. The participants expertise spanned across the health care and performance fields reaching sports medicine psychologists, physical, occupational and behavioral therapists, sports massage therapists, spa massage therapists, acupuncturists, doulas, extreme performance athletes, VA hospital therapists as well as the then ever-growing field of present day yoga, pilates and fitness instructors.

KD has years of experience living and breathing art forms as an international and versatile artist, educator, performer, and choreographer based in NYC. Through a multifaceted foundation in dance and extensive training in the Dunham Technique and AntiGravity® Techniques as well as life as a program developer in multiple community oriented educational environments, KD brings her insight, creative pathways, artistic functionality and experience from around the world into the professional and inclusive workspace.
